The WestEdge Design Fair recently took its festivities to Dallas, Texas for its debut. Coinciding with Artexpo Dallas, the successful fair gave attendees a double dose of art and design for an exciting weekend at the Dallas Market Hall in the Dallas Design District.
On Friday, the fair opened its doors at noon and continued into the evening with its opening night party. The Signature Kitchen Suite (SKS) Culinary Pavilion featuring Chef Jenny Brightman of Brightman Food, Inc. put on a showcase of cooking demonstrations while exhibitors enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and shopping on the show floor. The evening benefitted two esteemed charity partners, Dwell with Dignity and the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.
During the rest of the fair, attendees got to meet design brands from all over the globe, including Natufia (Estonia), Urban Bonfire (Canada), Union Jack Sales (UK), Turnstyle Designs (UK), and SWADOH (France). Local makers and designers, including Brenda Houston, Chad Dorsey, and Azzurro Living showcased their new collections while artists Carmen Menza, Ricardo Maniagua, and JM Rizzi shared their new works.
The panel talks co-produced by Convo by Design featured over 25 industry experts and luminaries who shared their experience, thoughts, and advice with the crowd. If you missed the fair or any of these panels, they’ll be available via the Convo by Design podcast in the coming weeks.
