From the latest installment in the “Star Wars” galaxy to an iconic book adaptation, here are six new shows to add to your TV lineup this fall.
In the age of TV reboots, a show titled “Reboot” seems like the least likely contender for an original series — but Hulu’s new show is just that. “Reboot,” which premiered September 20, is a comedic take on what happens when a writer (Rachel Bloom) pitches a reboot of a beloved early 2000s sitcom. The fun idea quickly proves difficult as the network attempts to assemble the original — albeit slightly problematic — cast (featuring Judy Greer, Keegan Michael-Key, and Johnny Knoxville).

Ever since the launch of Disney+ (and the “Baby Yoda-fication” of the world), “Star Wars” has been getting the live-action TV treatment. The Diego Luna-helmed “Andor” is the latest entry into the ever-expanding universe, premiering September 21. The prequel series follows Cassian Andor (Luna) in the early rebellion years leading up to the events of “Rogue One.” The show also stars Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, and Stellan Skarsgård.

Interview with the Vampire
Anne Rice’s beloved vampire novel is finally coming to the small screen in AMC’s “Interview with the Vampire” on October 2. The adaptation tracks the complicated and long-lasting romantic entanglement between vampire Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) and his vampiric apprentice Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson). Eric Bogosian stars as the journalist whom Louis relays his story to in the present day.

In a very meta move, Netflix is the streamer behind the new “Blockbuster” series out November 3, which follows the employees at the last remaining Blockbuster Video store in the U.S. Randall Park stars as the video-loving store owner, who works side-by-side with his long-time crush (Melissa Fumero). The employees (including Tyler Alvarez and Olga Merediz) attempt to prove the importance of in-person connection as they work to keep the store up and running.

Fans of “Big Little Lies,” “The Undoing,” and “Nine Perfect Strangers” can rejoice: there’s a new David E. Kelley series in the works. Kelley’s latest is based off of Dror Mishani’s novel, “The Missing File,” and follows an NYPD detective (Jeff Wilbusch) whose faith is put to the test when a routine investigation goes awry. Juliana Canfield, Michael Mosley, and Karen Robinson round out the cast of the Peacock series, premiering November 10.

How did something like the Chippendales franchise come to be? Hulu has the answer in its newest true crime series, premiering November 22. “Welcome to Chippendales” charts the messy rise and fall of Somen “Steve” Banerjee (Kumail Nanjiani), the entrepreneur who turned a failing LA night club into one of the most notorious brands in the country. Annaleigh Ashford, Murray Bartlett, and Juliette Lewis also star.
