Have you ever pulled up TikTok to have a quick peek at your For You Page, then looked up and realized that an entire hour has passed? If so, you’re not alone. In fact, you might even be able to turn the app’s addictiveness into a legitimate side hustle.

Influencer marketing platform Ubiquitous Influence wants to pay one lucky TikTok user $600 (or $50 per hour) to watch 12 hours worth of TikTok videos and select their favorite ones — you know, an activity most of us are willing to do for free. The winner will be required to share their favorite TikTok videos they encounter during their binge across other social media sites like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, and tagging Ubiquitous’ official social media accounts (@ubiquitousofficial) along the way.
The company will also send over a welcome package featuring a $50 Uber Eats gift card, a $50 Target card, a 12-inch right light and tripod, and a cellphone holder.
And don’t worry — if chosen, you don’t have to watch all 12 hours of TikTok in one go. Ubiquitous will give you three days to get the job done.
“Absolutely anyone can apply as long as they have an account on the app,” Ubiquitous Influence senior director of growth Jeremy Boudinet said in a press release announcing the gig.
Boudinet continued: “We’re not looking for an expert or a TikTok connoisseur. We’re just looking for someone who uses the app fairly frequently and has an active social-media presence of their own.”
Applicants must be at least 18 years old. You can apply on Ubiquitous’ website by stating, in 100 to 200 words, why you love TikTok and are the perfect person for the role.
Entries will close on October 31, 2022, and the winner will be notified by email within the following week. Best of luck!
