November greetings friends. Daylight savings is upon us. I have mixed feelings about it every year, while I like the light streaming through the windows a little earlier in the day, the five o’clock darkness is gloomy. However I’ve decided to shift my mindset about it, after all, it’s not something I can change.
Therefore the focus for November will be layers of cozy: homemade soups, soft throw blankets on every sofa and chair, the opportunity to light more candles, and the anticipation of the upcoming holidays. We’re hosting Thanksgiving again so I’ll be doing the cooking with the help of my daughter and setting a simple yet festive table for twelve.
