These "floating" candles are the perfect whimsical touch for Halloween or Christmas!
I found these cool "Harry Potter" candles last year and we absolutely fell in love with them. They are such a fun addition to our fall and Halloween decor this time of year. (But I think they could be carried through to the holidays easily!)
Can you believe I've never seen any of the Harry Potter movies? I know! My sister and son chastise me often about that fact.
But because our son loves it so much, I grabbed these cool hanging candles last year. I immediately hung them in our foyer:

These particular floating ceiling candles come in a set of 12 and include fishing wire (the key to the floating look), the ceiling hooks with sticky pads and a very cool wand that turns them on and off.
I changed the way I hung the candles this year, because the sticky hooks they come with took some drywall off when I removed them last year:
