It’s the Little Things #215

Hello, hello! The weather has been warming up, Easter is right around the corner and the activities have ramped up for us. How about you and your family? From here on out, the school year seems to fly by so I am just hanging on and continuing to write all the activities in my planner to keep up. I also have a little blog update to share with you regarding these posts too – keep reading!

It’s the Little Things #215

I love sharing my ‘little things’ with you every week – it’s one of my favorite things!  I know you love it too and I’m excited to be sharing these with you in a new way. I’m moving the favorite things off the blog and bringing them into your inbox. Look for those changes next week – if you aren’t on my email list, sign up now! You won’t want to miss all the good things that are in the works!

I have some finds for you this week, including a slam dunk salad recipe that is perfect to bring to a friend’s house from Joy the Baker and a helpful post from My Frugal Home on how to dye eggs using food coloring. I loved reading through all the comments and tips people shared in the Modern Mrs. Darcy post and found so many good ones. Lastly, take a minute to read through my posts from this week on how to spring clean your laundry room as well as how to spring clean your whole home for less than $5.

Back to back weeks featuring Joy the Baker, but this one is too good not to share. I love having a go-to salad to bring to a dinner get-together and this one looks like an absolute winner- antipasto salad. Don’t forget to follow her on Instagram if you aren’t already.

Our kids still enjoy dying Easter eggs and I love the tradition that has carried over from my childhood. If you haven’t grabbed a kit from the store or want to try something different, check out how to dye eggs using food coloring from My Frugal Home.
