Candy Corn Jello Shots!

It’s spooky season, and these candy corn Jello shots are perfect for a Halloween party or scary movie night.

And, you can make these candy corn Jello shots the night before (always a plus in my book!).

I used orange Jello, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla vodka to give these shots a yummy orange cream flavor. They’re delicious and sweet.

Candy Corn Jello Shots!

Ingredients:

  • Orange Jello
  • Unflavored Gelatin
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Water
  • Vanilla Vodka
  • Yellow Food Coloring

a bottle of smirnoff, a box of jell-o, a box of gelatine, a bowl of candy corn, and a can of condensed milk

How to Make Candy Corn Jello Shots:

Pour 1 cup of water into a small saucepan and pour 2 packets of unflavored gelatin into the water. Warm the water and gelatin over a low heat, stirring occasionally, until all the gelatin has dissolved (about 5 minutes).

Remove pan from the heat and add 1/2 your can of condensed milk to the mixture. Stir until the ingredients combine.

Add 2/3 cup of vanilla vodka. Cover and set aside half of your milk mixture. You will need to use it for the last layer.

Evenly distribute the first half of your mixture into 20 disposable shot glasses, filling them about 1/3 full. Refrigerate until firm (30-40 minutes).

How Long Does It Take for the Layers to Set?

Each layer will take around 30-40 minutes to set. Be sure to wait until each one is fully set before adding the next. Then, allow the finished Jello shots to chill for two hours.

When the first layer is firm, pour 1 cup of water into your saucepan and add another packet of gelatin to make your middle layer.

Warm the water until the gelatin dissolves, remove from the heat, and stir in the box of orange Jello until it dissolves. Then, add 1/3 cup vanilla vodka.

Evenly distribute the orange layer on top of white layer and refrigerate until chilled.

When your orange layer is solid, retrieve the second half of the milk mixture (that you set aside) and add in a few drops of yellow food coloring.

Distribute your yellow layer on top of the orange layer and put it back into the fridge until it sets.
